What time should we arrive?

Please plan to arrive 15 minutes before your departure time. Giving yourself enough time to find our parking lot, and get down to the boat.

What is provided on board?

Each charter is staffed with a licensed Captain as well as a deckhand/ crew member to assist you and your guests. We will also provide a small cooler with ice for your drinks as well as bottled water and plastic cups for your to use while on board. In addition the boat is stocked with blankets in case of cooler days on the water as well as sunscreen and a bluetooth speaker for you to play your favorite music during the charter.

Can we bring alcohol and food?

Yes! We are BYOB so bring what ever you would like while on board. Our staff can store it below deck and serve it to you as you need it. Guests who are 21yo or older are allowed to consume alcohol onboard. All guests who are having an alcoholic drink must show proof of age with a valid ID. Please drink responsibly and understand that our Captain has the right to cut off any guest for the sake of guest safety onboard. Any cruise in which too much alcohol has been consumed too quickly/things are getting too rowdy/ etc will be cut short and the boat will return to dock immediately.

What should we bring?

We recommend packing few things to make your experience even better:

  • Warm clothes such as a sweater or jacket in case it gets a bit chilly

  • Snacks and beverages if you are not purchasing them on board

  • a towel if you plan to swim

How many people can join us on the charter?

The US Coast Guard sets the boat capacity; therefore, we will not be able to depart with more than 6 passengers. We also provide a captain and a first mate that do not count towards the total of 6.

Where does the boat depart from?

Patrician is docked at the Herreshoff Marine Museum in Bristol, RI. The museum has its own parking lot that is located just across the street from the docks. Your crew will meet you on the waterfront and direct you to the boat to load in.

What is the cancelation policy?

You can cancel your booking, for a full refund up to 7 days before your scheduled departure time. If cancellation occurs between 7 days and 3 days before your scheduled departure time, you are responsible for 50% of the booking cost. The full price of the charter will be charged if a cancellation occurs within 72 hours of the scheduled departure time. All sales booked within 72 hours of the scheduled departure time are non-transferable and non-refundable. Customers receive a full refund if a cancellation occurs due to weather or other unforeseen circumstances.

What happens if there is bad weather the day of the charter?

We want you to have the best experience with us on the water. Weather is unpredictable in New England and occasionally we may have to cancel. It is up to the Captain to cancel due to weather. If we must cancel due to weather you can reschedule your charter for another time or receive a refund for the trip.

Is there a bathroom on board?

We have a small toilet on board below deck, but we recommend using the restroom before your cruise. There is a restroom conveniently located in the Museum where you are parking, you may use this restroom before your cruise.

Are life preservers provided?

Yes we have one life preserver for every passenger on board.
